Every year in the fall the Edgerton FFA Chapter goes on a
canoe tip. This year the trip was on October 7. It was a
perfect day to canoe. The weather was not to hot and not to
cold. The chapter paddled down the Saint Joe River. The trip
began at 1pm at the Denmark Bridge and the members travel
passed route 6 and finish at the Kimpel’s house. 38 members
and 5 chaperones’ attended this chapter bonding experience.
The trip
consisted of many canoes being flipped, water balloons being
thrown, a cook out, and a dirty mud fight. The freshman had
trouble rowing, while the seniors finished first. The trip
took around two hours to finish for the fast rower but some
of the freshmen finished in three hours. After everyone
finish someone decided to start a mud fight. It was complete
disaster mostly everyone was covered in mud. The FFA had a
great time traveling down the Saint Joe River and plan to go
again next year.
